As the Co-Founder of PuSh Festival, having also served as its Artistic and Executive Director for over 14 years, Norman Armour knows what it takes to draw an audience to experimental and contemporary performing arts. His deep appreciation for Vancouver’s audience and the city’s culture has been clear in every step of his journey. Norman explains the beauty of the Taiwanese acts that have taken part at the PuSh festival and what they bring to the international world of performing arts.
Co-founder of Rumble Productions and the annual PuSh Festival, Norman Armour is a legendary figure in the world of contemporary art performance. Since arriving in Vancouver in 1978, he has developed a deep appreciation for the open-minded spirit of the vibrant city’s diverse audience. He now works with the Australia Council for the Arts, continuing to use his expertise to share North America’s arts scene with the world.
